Youll be responsible for formulating business cases, designing automation solutions, and guiding implementation through architectural frameworks. This role involves leading solution development teams, engaging with stakeholders, and contributing to the organisations digital strategy. Youll also play a key role in change management, capability alignment, and continuous improvement across automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate business cases for automation initiatives
- Design and validate automation solutions using PBMD, Pre-PDD, and test cycle governance
- Lead solution development teams including business users, analysts, and developers
- Research and evaluate intelligent automation technologies aligned to digital strategy
- Drive organisational change management for automation initiatives
- Engage and influence key stakeholders and leadership
- Present business cases to Intelligent Automation Steercom (IAS)
- Plan, lead, and coordinate automation projects
- Provide ongoing system improvement support
- Monitor and test systems for performance and efficiency
- Support cost-effective process development and ROI analysis
- Promote customer-centric delivery across departments
- Maintain professional accreditation and CPD
- Provide specialist support to projects and committees

510 years experience in the medical aid or insurance industryAt least 3 years in an automation Business Analyst roleExperience with automation technologiesManagement experience or relevant qualification (advantageous)5 years of SDLC experience including BusDevOps and UATExperience with Blue Prints, PBMD, and business case frameworksKnowledge of automation lifecycle and governance modelsAbility to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiativesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsQualifications
