About the role
NSW Public Works (NSW PW) is part of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and supports local and state government agencies to deliver critical infrastructure initiatives by providing expert advisory planning design delivery and support services.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead the Ministers Stoneworks Program (MSP) Strategy a 10-year whole-of-government strategy to preserve NSWs most iconic heritage buildings sustain rare trades and embed national best practice in public-sector heritage delivery.
Based in the NSWPW Heritage Environment and Planning directorate this is a program-side leadership role within our Ministers Stoneworks team. You will oversee the successful delivery and governance of the MSP working closely with the teams Heritage Stoneworks at DPHI partner agencies and the extended team of in-house heritage environment and planning specialists.
Youll lead the design and implementation of key systems governance frameworks and stakeholder engagement processes to ensure timely cost-effective and high-quality conservation outcomes. You are a strategic and outcomes-driven Senior Program Manager with a passion for heritage conservation skilled trades and public value . You bring a strong record of leadership in delivering complex multi-stakeholder programs ideally within government infrastructure or the built heritage environment.
You combine deep program management expertise with a genuine commitment to cultural stewardship sustainability and long-term asset resilience . You understand the urgency of conserving our built heritage not just to maintain physical assets but to preserve community identity avoid future costs and support essential services.
You are confident working across agencies and disciplines building co-funding partnerships managing high-value portfolios and aligning teams to deliver under a clear strategic vision. You balance structure and flexibility and bring a mindset of continuous improvement to every aspect of your work from program governance and procurement to digital innovation and people development.
