Actuarial Manager

We have an amazing opportunity for an Actuarial Manager at a financial services company based in Johannesburg! The main purpose of this role is : - To use data analytics to improve business processes, identify product opportunities, and ensure accurate and actuarially sound product implementation. We require a candidate with :

• Qualified Fellow Actuary
• MS Excel Proficient
• Database experience (SQL)
• Must have experience with statistical software (R and / or Python)
• Programming experience and understanding. (e.g. VBA)
• Advantageous
• Industry experience applying ML / regression models in analytics
• Previous systems work or software testing / coding experience
