Qualification & Requirements

• Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Retail Management, Marketing Communication, or a closely related business discipline.
• Industry certifications in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, HubSpot, SEO / SEM) to strengthen practical teaching.
• Evidence of both academic teaching experience and practical industry exposure in marketing campaigns, retail strategies, and digital platforms.
• At least 5 years of teaching experience, 2 of which must be up to NQF level 8.

Additional considerations

Candidates with a mix of theoretical knowledge (consumer behaviour, marketing strategy, retail operations) and applied skills (campaign management, analytics, e-commerce). Publications, conference presentations, or curriculum design experience in digital or retail marketing will be an advantage.

The Total Cost to Company, ranging between R294,192 and R392,256 per annum will be determined in accordance with the incumbent’s experience.
