Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide electrical support services for installation repair and maintenance of electrical infrastructure and equipment to ensure reliability and safety compliance.
• Assist in day-to-day maintenance operations by collaborating with foreman and completing job cards accurately.
• Stay updated with the latest technological innovations and align processes to implement applicable training and improvements.
• Adhere to Safety Health Environment and Community (SHEC) protocols by ensuring proper reporting of incidents and diligent use of personal protective equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical tools equipment HT substations and MCC Rooms addressing any defects or maintenance needs.
• Execute routine and scheduled maintenance plans balancing workload to include breakdown recovery and preventive measures.
• Coach and mentor new artisans and apprentices ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and fostering skills development.
• Participate actively in talent and culture development by driving personal training development plans and promoting company values.
• Ensure all tasks and installations are completed in a timely manner complying with SHEC guidelines and forwarding all job cards to foreman upon completion.
• Address unsafe practices swiftly reporting potential hazards and complying with technical requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
