Overview
A vacancy has arisen for a Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) Specialist at M&G Investments. The successful candidate will join a team of skilled professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional client communications through DDQs and RFPs. This role is pivotal to both the acquisition and retention of client mandates and involves close collaboration with the Investment, Client Service, and other internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to prepare high-quality responses to DDQs and RFPs. This includes content related to the company, portfolio management and investment process, ESG, operations, risk, compliance, B-BBEE, and transformation.
- Lead the completion of institutional and wholesale DDQs and RFPs for existing and prospective clients, ensuring exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and timely delivery. Coordinate effectively with internal and external teams as required.
- Develop and maintain a library of standard DDQ documents covering M&G’s local and global investment capabilities.
- Manage relationships with third-party investment databases (e.g., eVestment, Wilshire, Mercer), ensuring all product information is current and accurately maintained.
- Build and sustain strong internal relationships across departments to source and verify relevant information for client requests.
- Use RocketDocs to efficiently track, manage, and complete requests within specified timelines. Ensure that RocketDocs is continually updated with accurate and relevant model answers to support consistency, quality, and speed in responding to future DDQs and RFPs.
Attributes, Qualifications, Skills & Experience
A relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in commerce, with a solid grounding in economics, investment markets, and financial products.Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the asset management or broader financial services industry.Proven experience in producing high-quality written client communications, including reports and marketing materials.Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.Familiarity with DDQ / RFP software tools; experience with RocketDocs is advantageous.Competencies & Personal Attributes
