Main Responsibilities
Analyse and plan production schedules, processes & documentation effectively and meet production & sales targets.Recommend modifications to production processes to ensure that production standards are maintained and improved to meet production and quality targets.Assist in the review and evaluation of new and existing processes to ensure that they are operating accurately and meet production requirements and standards.Ensuring to obtain related information necessary for optimum production from business units and / or clients timeously.Planning, coordination & expediting of all production.Planning and coordination of mobile mill management when required.Control of booking out of coils and releasing of all orders.Reporting back to sales and dispatch on progress against expected rolling dates.Attendance to all quality complaints promptly and efficiently.Coordination and control of all documentation between production and logistics.Complying with established controls and authority levels in the scope of the function.Ensuring accurate attention to detail and accuracy in the use of Sap and in the scope of function.Attendance in and participation of stock takes, conference attendance and training sessions as required.Planning, coordination and management of daily production in line with expected delivery norms and sales requirements.Coordinating and ensuring that production days are reduced thereby ensuring value added and efficient service to clients.Partnering with all in-house departments to maintain a sound relationship.Responsibility of supervision for all production staff : Verification, assistance and control of wages related issues.Assistance in both product development and process improvement.Responsibility for the enforcement of the business’ disciplinary code (timekeeping, absenteeism and handling of disciplinary issues).Managing the assimilation and distribution of reporting requirements.Quality control to ensure products meet the required specifications before being dispatched.Complying with established controls and authority levels in the scope of the function.Ensure all standard operating procedures (SOP) are followed and implemented at branch level relevant to Planning and Production.Stringent Cost control.Safeguarding and Control of all manufacturing equipment.Any other duties and tasks as assigned by management from time to time.Qualifications required :
Minimum academic qualification : Matric, Technical Qualification, Production & Quality Management Qualification.Qualifications as an added advantage : Diploma / 5 - 7 years in medium to large organization.Experience required :
General work experience (years) : 05 Years in Medium to Large Service & Manufacturing Organization with an experience on SAP operating system.Administrative / Management jobs
