Job description

Our client, a leading Asset Manager, is seeking ambitious Business Development Managers to join their dynamic financial services distribution team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in growing the company's footprint within the independent financial advisor (IFA) and wealth management sectors across three key regions.

About the Role
You will be responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities, driving sales initiatives, and developing regional growth strategies to increase market share. Your role will also include onboarding new IFAs, deepening relationships with existing advisors, and ensuring high client satisfaction through regular engagement and portfolio reviews.

Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the IFA and wealth management sectors.
Drive sales growth and asset inflows through targeted campaigns and presentations.
Develop and implement growth strategies for your region.
Onboard and activate new IFAs, converting them to active partners.
Maintain and deepen relationships with existing IFAs to grow assets and retention.
Follow up on proposals to ensure high conversion rates.
Provide excellent client service to exceed expectations.
Keep updated on industry trends and participate in training.
Collaborate to ensure compliance and support team culture.

What Were Looking For
Experience in business development, sales, or relationship management in financial services, ideally within asset management or wealth management.
Strong commercial and client-focused mindset.
Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Solid understanding of financial markets and investment products.
Commitment to ethical business practices and compliance.
