Grade RRR Assistant Teacher - Centurion Full job description Arrow Academy is currently looking to hire an individual that is passionate about education and teaching to join the team as a Grade RRR Assistant Teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging in class teaching, including the academic, administrative, educational, and disciplinary aspects so that the education of the learners is prioritized effectively. REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 Studying towards an Early Childhood and Development Qualification 2 years of experience in a similar role Familiarity with MS Word and Web browsers Proficient in English, both verbal and written communication DUTIES Provide support to the Grade RRR teacher. Organise and distribute learning resources and set up workstations. Assist with lessons and help the children participate in classroom activities. Monitor behaviour and learner participation. Assist learners who need extra support or have behavioural issues. Organise and supervise games and other recreational activities to promote the physical, mental, and social development of the learners. Tutor and assist children individually or in small groups to help them master key concepts and to reinforce learning concepts. Supervise learners during aftercare hours and holiday clubs.
