Production Manager – Vereeniging

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team in Vereeniging. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring that production targets are met, and maintaining a high level of quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines
– Monitor and manage production processes to ensure efficiency and productivity
– Communicate with various departments to coordinate the production process
– Train and supervise production staff to ensure they are meeting performance standards
– Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet company standards
– Troubleshoot any production issues that arise and implement solutions in a timely manner
– Maintain a safe working environment for all production staff
– Manage and track production costs to ensure budgets are met
– Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce waste

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
– 5+ years of experience in production management
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Knowledge of production processes and quality control measures
– Experience with Lean manufacturing principles is a plus
– Proven track record of meeting production targets and deadlines
– Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
– Excellent problem-solving skills
