About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a regulatory leadership position responsible for maintaining the company’s Part 145 Maintenance Certificate and ensuring all maintenance, airworthiness, and technical standards meet CASA PNG and organisational requirements.

You’ll manage the full engineering and technical administration function, including :

  • Oversight of aircraft maintenance planning and defect rectification
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company manuals
  • Managing budgets, procurement, tooling, and facilities
  • Leading a skilled technical workforce and authorising maintenance staff
  • Reporting to the CEO on engineering performance, safety, and compliance

    • Aircraft types include : Twin Otter DHC6-300, Cessna 525B CJ3, Cessna 208B Caravan, and Beechcraft King Air B200.

    About You

    You are an experienced aviation engineering professional with the leadership capability to manage a Maintenance & Repair Organisation (MRO) and uphold world-class standards of safety and performance.

    Ideally you will have :

  • Proven experience managing a complex AOC or maintenance organisation
  • Strong regulatory knowledge and familiarity with CARs and MCM requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, audits, and compliance programs
  • Experience on one or more of the listed aircraft types (preferred)
  • Eligibility to meet CASA PNG’s Fit & Proper Person criteria
