As a Life Actuarial Manager, youll take charge of diverse client portfolios leading teams through complex actuarial assignments across valuation, product development, capital modelling, and risk management. Youll work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver technical insight and business impact while mentoring the next generation of actuarial professionals.

This role is tailor-made for an almost or newly qualified FASSA with strong consulting experience whos ready to combine technical expertise with leadership responsibility.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and oversee multiple actuarial projects across life insurance and reinsurance clients.
• Manage, mentor, and support Actuarial Analysts and Associates.
• Review models, assumptions, and methodologies to ensure technical integrity and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering practical, data-driven insights.
• Contribute to business development and the firms strategic growth initiatives.

Job Experience and Skills Required :

Nearly or newly qualified Actuary (ASSA).

57 years of actuarial experience within life insurance.

Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Prophet, R, Python, or SQL beneficial.
