Job descriptionNational Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum of 5 years’ design experience (transformer environment experience advantageous). Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality systems . Ability to provide effective technical support and contribute to continuous process improvements. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the electrical design aspects of power transformers.
- Produce accurate production core and wiring sheets for manufacturing.
- Provide technical support to the factory when required.
- Ensure electrical design principles, processes, and practices are correctly implemented.
- Assist with the training and development of trainee designers .
- Maintain compliance with manufacturing processes and quality systems .
