Our national client in the Supply Chain sector is seeking to appoint an Assistant Operations Manager to join their Riverfields branch. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in warehousing and distribution operations, supporting the effective management of daily processes, staff supervision, and ensuring operational efficiency. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Operations would be advantageous
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment in operations / distribution is essential
• Fresh Produce knowledge is essential
• A thorough knowledge of disciplinary procedures, as well as good interpersonal skills at management and staff levels
• Valid drivers license and own transport is preferred
• Be able to work shifts
• Have a reliable track record regarding attendance at work, a consistent level of job performance and general conduct
• Receiving
• Stock Control
• Order picking and checking
• Vehicle loading and dispatch
• Production
