Job description

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Operational Systems Implementation Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, support, maintain, and improve operational systems.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Respond to incidents, resolve issues, and plan for system growth.
  • Recommend enhancements to improve system availability and performance.
  • Conduct testing, gather feedback, and report on results.
  • Analyse operational metrics to support performance improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for automation.
  • Manage helpdesk calls and ensure timely resolution within SLA.
  • Provide end-user training and support.
  • Draft functional development scope documents.
  • Manage projects including business cases, issue tracking, and risk registers.
  • Coordinate communication between the business and third-party vendors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Sciences, or related field.
  • Qualification in Business Analysis or Project Management advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software implementation or project management.
  • Key Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously.
  • Strong time management and ability to work under pressure.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
