Civil Engineer / Technologist

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of project specifications, BoQs, cost estimates and tender documentation.
• Prepare reports required by the project, implementation of all relevant codes of practice and ensuring that all work complies with Client s quality control procedures and are implemented
• Knowledge and experience of working with relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices and specifically SANS 1200.
• Must be able to work well in a team to support the Project Leader but should also have the capability to take the lead on project designs.
• Ensure the quality of drawings produced and that the required drawing standards are maintained
• Undertake construction supervision duties where required.
