The Position The Business Development Engineer supports the Key Account Manager – New Business by fostering long-term client relationships within the Engineering & Equipment sector.

This role involves engaging with clients’ technical teams to develop tailored solutions that enhance tender success rates.

Internally, the engineer contributes to strategic sales and revenue initiatives and ensures accurate record-keeping through diligent use of the company’s CRM system.

The position is key to driving sales volume and profitability through technical insight, client engagement, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent time-management and problem-solving abilities who thrives in fast-paced team environments.

Responsibilities : Business Development support on technical engagements and assist with crafting innovative and unique client solutions Promoting ProProcess technical capability in the market, interacting with industry leaders, and showcasing the Groups key capabilities at industry events Market research and new product / solution identifications Support Business Development team on internal projects to investigate and develop new markets Technology screening, concept development and participation in feasibility studies Innovation & continuous improvement targeted at the customer engagement journey Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in a related field – preference for Chemical Engineering 2-3 years' experience in crafting technical solutions in the Mining Sector - Downstream Metals Processing Excellent written and verbal communications Advanced skillset in time management and task prioritization Passion for exploring technological developments in given sector Ability to lead or work as part of team in conducting research on select technical topics Ability to multitask and identify opportunities for process improvement   Powered by JazzHR
