Responsibilities

• To attend to reports of breakdowns and equipment failure on the premises or anywhere that may be required of you timeously.
• To install new equipment and fixtures, removing the old equipment and dispose of according to Company rule and regulations.
• To ensure correct root cause analysis is performed on all breakdown related issues.
• Reduce engineering downtime in the production areas through effective and applied maintenance processes.
• To be responsible for the completion and filing of job cards for all work done.
• To maintain world class engineering standards during the course of their duties.
• Comply within the OHS act requirements on all safety standards.
• To assist in the upgrade and pending projects in the plant.
• All associates shall have responsibility to report identified problems with the food safety management system.
• Designated associates shall have defined responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions.
• Participate in all workshop activities related to 5S housekeeping.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Demonstrated mechanical and spatial aptitude, including the ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
