Job description

Our Client, a leader in the Retail Industry, is seeking to appoint an experienced Blockman to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in the Pietermaritzburg area.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery to ensure meat quality.
  • Cut, grind, and prepare meat.
  • Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
  • Clean and maintain tools and equipment, and ensure displays and signage are accurate and attractive.
  • Weigh, package, price, and display products.
  • Keep records, budgets, and inventory.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • A minimum of 2 (Two) years of experience as a Blockman.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Must be safety-conscious.
  • No criminal record.
