Overview

A leading player in the food manufacturing industry is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Engineering to join their executive team. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the strategic direction, efficiency and operational excellence of the engineering division within a complex and fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all engineering functions including maintenance, capital projects, utilities and infrastructure development.
• Develop and execute engineering strategies that support operational performance, cost efficiency and sustainability goals.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards, safety practices and environmental requirements.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across all technical and plant operations.
• Oversee engineering budgets, risk management and contract negotiations for key services and equipment.
• Provide strong leadership to a multidisciplinary team, promoting a high-performance culture aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

BSc / BEng in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Proven track record in senior engineering leadership roles within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector.

Strong knowledge of engineering systems, utilities management and asset care.

Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects and lead cross-functional teams.
