Finance Manager position available in Bellville.
CA(SA) with minimum 2 years’ post article experience, preferably in the Financial Services Industry (Insurance), required for the financial management of the Finance Department of an Insurance Company based in Bellville.
Minimum requirements :
- Accounting Degree essential
- CA(SA) qualified
- Minimum 2 years’ post article experience required, preferably in the Financial Services Industry
- Strong Excel skills essential as well as exposure to different accounting packages (Great Plains, SAP, Accpac)
Duties and Responsibilities :
Financial Management of the Finance DepartmentLiaise with Accountants responsible for the Accounting functionAssist with any accounting issuesReview monthly processingReview reconciliationsCompile management reports and analysisCashflow and investment managementApproving payment and collectionsBudgeting and ForecastingEnsure control accounts, balance sheets and income statements are reconciled monthlyVAT and Income Tax calculations and returnsStatutory and regulatory returnsCompile Annual Financial StatementsAssist Regional Managers with financial informationLiaise with internal and external AuditorsResolve reconciling and outstanding items on balance sheet reconciliationsSystems, processes and internal control improvementsIf you are a South African Citizen & your CV meets the above criteria, please send your CV.
