Role Summary :

The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth through the identification and development of new business opportunities within the IT sector. This role requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of the technology landscape. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT sector to drive revenue growth.
  • Client Relationship Management : Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Presentations : Conduct compelling product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, effectively communicating the value proposition.
  • Sales Target Achievement : Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through strategic planning and execution.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with marketing and technical teams to align sales strategies and enhance service delivery.
  • Reporting : Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to inform management and support decision-making.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience : Proven track record as a Sales Representative, preferably within the IT or technology sector.
  • Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of IT products, services, and market trends.
  • Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Motivation : Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Preferred Attributes :

  • Location : Candidates should be based in Durban or willing to relocate.
  • Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professionalism : Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels.
