Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Services Manager to lead our homecare services and ensure exceptional care delivery to our clients in their own homes. This is a pivotal leadership role where you\'ll oversee the strategic placement of qualified carers and nurses while maintaining the highest standards of care and client satisfaction. A key component of this role involves actively pursuing and securing contracts with major healthcare providers to grow our business.
Key Responsibilities
Care Management & Quality Assurance
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality homecare services to clients across various care needs
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards policies and procedures
- Conduct regular quality assessments and implement improvement strategies
- Manage client care plans and coordinate with healthcare professionals
Staff Placement & Coordination
Facilitate the strategic placement of carers and nurses into client homes for both short-term and long-term assignmentsMatch appropriate care staff to client needs considering skills experience and compatibilityCoordinate scheduling and ensure adequate staffing coverage for 24-hour care requirementsManage staff rotas and respond to urgent placement needsTeam Leadership & Development
Lead mentor and support a team of care coordinators and administrative staffRecruit train and develop homecare staff to maintain service excellenceConduct performance reviews and implement professional development plansFoster a positive supportive work environment focused on client-centered careClient Relations & Business Development
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their familiesConduct initial assessments and develop personalized care packagesHandle client concerns and complaints with professionalism and empathyIdentify opportunities for service expansion and improvementActively pursue and secure contracts with major healthcare providers medical schemes and corporate clientsDevelop and maintain strategic partnerships with hospitals clinics and healthcare networksPrepare proposals and presentations for potential major contractsNegotiate terms and pricing for large-scale care service agreementsOperational Management
Manage division budgets and ensure cost-effective service deliveryMaintain accurate records and reporting systemsCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service integrationImplement and monitor KPIs to track division performanceEssential Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
Management experience in homecare healthcare or social care sectorProven track record in business development sales or contract negotiation (preferably in healthcare)Thorough understanding of care regulations standards and best practicesExperience with care planning and assessment processesDemonstrated success in securing major contracts or partnershipsSkills & Competencies
