Job Description
Your duties will encompass :
- Adherence to safe work practices and good housekeeping.
- Carry out the grinding of rolls and adhere to the grinding procedures.
- Monitor the operation of the grinding machinery.
- Check and ensure quality of rolls relating to surface finish, hardness, Ultrasonic Tester and the dimensions.
- Ensure correct balancing of grinding wheels prior to operating the roll grinder machine.
- Ensuring of training to all roll grinders with regards to SOP.
- Ensure SOP for roll grinding is updated and roll grinders is trained on SOP.
- Ensure Skin pass rolls are grinded properly within tolerance and blasting quality is done properly.
- Ensure both roll grinding machines is in good working order.
