Junior HR Generalist

• This is an administration intensive, detail driven HR role, ideal for someone still in the early stage of their HR career who has a genuine passion for Human Resources, enjoys structure, and thrives in an environment where change is constant and deadlines matter.
• You will provide operational support across multiple HR disciplines (specifically including employee relations), with a strong focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.

Key Performance Areas:

• Maintain, update, and organise employee files and HR records
• Manage and archive HR documentation in line with statutory requirements
• Assist with reporting (financial & statistical)
• Conduct research and provide analytical feedback when required
• Provide administrative and operational support across the HR function, including employee relations processes

Key Competencies & Personal Attributes:

• HR qualification or studying towards an HR qualification
• Strong administrative capability with excellent attention to detail
• Solid Excel skills and numerical proficiency
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• High levels of confidentiality, discretion, and empathy
• Good interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach
• Adaptability and willingness to learn in a constantly evolving environment

Advantageous:

• Previous HR administration experience
• Exposure to South African labour legislation
• Working knowledge of SAGE HRMS
