Overview
A client of ours, based in Pretoria East, is looking to appoint a permanent Financial Manager to lead and manage their finance function. This is a hands-on, senior-level role ideal for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment with operations in trading and distribution.
Start Date
Immediately available, but they are happy to accommodate your notice period.
Salary
Open to experience and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Full financial management, budgeting, reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Preparation of consolidated AFS (IFRS).
- Tax, payroll, statutory compliance, and audit oversight.
- Cash flow and working capital management.
- Overseeing systems (Xero Accounting and Syft Analytics) and trade clearing processes.
- Leading the finance, admin, and HR teams.
- Supporting strategic and operational decision-making.
- Involvement in business development, due diligence, and special projects.
Ideal Candidate Profile
BCom Accounting / Honours and professional designation (CA(SA), CIMA, or SAIPA).Completed SAICA / SAIPA articles.At least 3 years post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Experience in FMCG, fresh produce, agri-business, or retail environments preferred.Strong ERP and reporting skills – Xero and Syft advantageous.Commercially minded, hands-on leader, able to operate from boardroom to floor.High integrity, strong interpersonal skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.Applicants must be based within the Centurion / Pretoria area.Next Steps
