Job Description

The main purpose of the role : Perform various functions related to the delivery of excellent customer service in the Credit Control team, including but not limited to ensuring that customers pay in accordance with the agreed credit terms and resolving queries and customer requests entering the Credit Control team through all business channels while operating within company policy, procedures, and guidelines.

Formal Credit Management qualification or currently studying towards

2-5 years of credit control experience doing the full credit control function

Job Description

Role title : Senior Credit Controller

Key accountabilities

• Ensure 100% of all KPI targets are met in line with C&R policies
• Follow up on non-payments
• Liaise with 3rd parties to resolve account disputes (involving meetings and negotiation with CEO’s, FM’s, IT Managers)
• Ensure monthly billing and reports are sent out timeously
• Daily coding of the bank statement
• Maintain and continue building relationships with customers
• Attend client meetings when required
• Ensure that all collection targets and KPIs are met
• Allocation of client payments
• Approval of new business for existing clients

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

• Corporate credit
• Intensive reconciliation and allocation on large accounts
• Microsoft Office
• Negotiation skills (ability to liaise with CEO’s, FM’s and IT Managers, EHODS & exec Heads Local & international)
• Driver’s license essential (own car)
• Analytical and investigative mind
• Must be able to perform complex account reconciliation
• Diploma in Credit Management would be an advantage
