Job Description – Sales Development Representative (SA)
Overview : We are seeking an SDR in South Africa to identify and qualify leads, engage potential clients, and support the sales team to drive revenue. The role is remote or on-site depending on the company, with a focus on outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and appointment setting.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, social channels, and other outreach methods.
 - Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine fit for our solutions.
 - Schedule discovery calls or product demos for Account Executives.
 - Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and opportunities in the CRM.
 - Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to optimize messaging and targeting.
 - Meet or exceed monthly / quarterly KPIs (e.g., calls, emails, meetings, and opportunities).
 
Qualifications
1+ year of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a related role (BDC / SDR / inside sales).Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in English; comfortable with outbound activities.Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms.Ability to work independently in a remote environment or in a hybrid setup.Resilience, coachability, and a target-driven mindset.What We Offer
