Location : Sandton, Gauteng

Salary : R1,200,000 – R2,400,000 yearly

Job Description

Senior Project Manager responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of large-scale Oracle / ERP transformation programs. The role requires strong technical proficiency, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation across complex environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex Oracle / ERP implementation projects in multi‑stakeholder environments.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and issue resolution.
  • Provide strategic input and technical insight to guide decision‑making.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, quality, and change‑control standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or Project Management.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing large‑scale Oracle / ERP deployments.
  • Strong technical understanding of ERP platforms and integration points.
  • Proven success delivering projects in complex enterprise environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Pragmatic, solution‑focused leadership presence.
  • Technical Skills

  • Deep knowledge of Oracle ERP systems and their functionalities.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with data migration tools and techniques.

    AWS Cloud Solutions Architect

    Partner with AWS brand and sales teams to design, architect, and implement AWS solutions for business partners and their clients. The role involves technical sales, demonstrations, workshops, and partner engagement.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage weekly with AWS vendor technical counterparts to stay aligned on solutions, updates, and support.
  • Conduct at least four proactive technical engagements per month with business partners.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to participate in partner engagements and support technical sales initiatives.
  • Deliver pre‑ and post‑sales technical activities with precision and timeliness.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to partners and clients.
  • Conduct technical demonstrations, workshops, and enablement sessions.
  • Support partners in progressing through the AWS Partner Journey and expanding their AWS business footprint.
  • Maintain comprehensive communication with stakeholders on project updates, recommendations, and delivery.
  • Requirements

  • BSc in Computer Science or related IT field.
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification (essential).
  • Optional AWS DevOps Engineer Professional or AWS Specialty certifications (preferred).
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain relevant AWS certifications.
  • 3-5 years of technical experience in cloud solutions architecture.
  • Technical Skills

  • In‑depth knowledge of AWS services, cloud architecture, and technical protocols.
  • Strong network knowledge : TCP / IP, DNS, HTTP, IP addressing.
  • Experience with scripting languages, relational databases, and NoSQL technologies.
  • Proficiency with AWS CloudFormation and infrastructure‑as‑code (YAML / JSON).
  • Expertise in cloud security, AWS Organizations, Control Tower, Landing Zones.
  • Familiarity with AWS Partner Network programs and offerings.
  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills

  • Strong consultative approach with proven relationship‑building skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with enterprise application integration and architecture.
  • Hands‑on experience with servers, storage, networking, and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Comfortable with Linux, Unix, Solaris, Ubuntu, and Windows operating systems.
