Qualifications

• Each position must hold the SAMSA-issued Certificate of Competency only
• At least 2 years serving in the position on a tanker
• In possession of a valid Tanker Endorsement in the CoC (Advanced Training for Oil & Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations) and valid certificates for all STCW’78 (as amended) required training courses
