Senior Quantity Surveyor

A construction company is seeking to employ a Senior Quantity Surveyor.The importance of this role is that the candidate should possess all of the following skills.

• Grade 12 with 3- 5 years minimum working experience
• Qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Computer literate (CCS or Buildsmart, WinQS or DimX, MS Excel &Outlook)
• The ability to read building plans
• Confidently work on B.O.Q.
• Understanding of company functions and infrastructure
• Well-developed English language skills (speak, read and write)Competencies :

• Presenting and communicating informationThe responsibilities will include, but not be limited in any way to : -
• Compilation and monitoring of project budgetary allowances
• Preparation works for interim monthly Valuations to client
• Manage sub-contractor accounts
• Preparation works for Final accounts – Client and Sub-contractors
• Knowledgeable in JBCC contracts
• Knowledgeable in CCS or Buildsmart
• Measuring on site
• Preparation of tender documents
• Provide progress reports on contractorsSalary : R 25 000-R 50 000 PER MONTH
