SAP ABAP Developer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom SAP applications using ABAP programming language. You will work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. The role is focused on a Technical Unicode conversion of the SAP ECC6 system for a period of 9 months

10+ years of hands‑on ABAP development experience, including custom reports, enhancements, and debugging.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving SAP technologies.

Designs, develops and supports application solutions with focus on HANA version of Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP). This specialty may design, develop and / or re‑engineer highly complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. This specialty may additionally have working knowledge of SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture, Data Modeling using HANA Studio, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA, ADBC, Native SQL, ABAP Core data Services, Data Base Procedures, Text Search, ALV on HANA, and HANA Live models consumption.

The candidate should have the below technical skills :

• Develop and maintain custom programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms using ABAP.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization.
• Participate in SAP upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and unit test scripts.
• Support end-users and resolve technical issues related to SAP custom developments.
• Adhere to SAP development standards and best practices.

Requirements

SAP ABAP certification

Any other relevant certifications. Certified copies of SAP / other certificates. The candidates will not be considered if they don’t supply certified copies of SAP / relevant certificates.

Traceable experience in Unicode conversion and possession of a Back‑End Developer – ABAP Cloud certification.

Must possess experience in previous Unicode conversion projects.

Must possess strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Must be able to handle pressure, difficult conversations and navigate through client resistance to achieve goals.
