TWK Agri has the following vacancy available : Diesel Mechanic within the Trade division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

Job SummaryThis role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural diesel equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting machinery, identifying faults, replacing, or repairing components, performing electrical and mechanical tests, and completing all related documentation accurately.

Responsibilities and DutiesReassemble agricultural equipment following repair; test operation; and make adjustments as necessaryExamine and listen to equipment, read inspection reports, and confer with customers to locate and diagnose malfunctionsTest and replace electrical components and wiring, using test meters, soldering equipment, and hand toolsRepair or replace defective parts, using hand tools, machines, welding equipment, grinders, or sawsInspect or test parts to determine nature or cause of defects or malfunctionsRecommend product or component design improvements based on data and observationsMaintain test equipment in operational condition by performing routine maintenance or making minor repairs or adjustments as neededComplete all documentation including worksheets, certificates, receipts and applying signatures as appropriate on a daily basisInspect equipment for safety prior to use, and perform necessary basic maintenance tasksQualifications and SkillsMatric / Grade 12Qualified Diesel Mechanic (red seal)Experience on agricultural equipmentExperience on New Holland tractors (advantageous)Computer literateTake the next step in your career with TWK Agri, a trusted leader in agriculture and beyond.
