Life & Brand Portfolio are looking for a talented, Digital Manager to manage and level up our social media accounts across various social media platforms. You will be responsible for creating content strategies with images, text and video. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.
As a Digital Manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively and work well within a very high paces environment.
Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement but doing so across multiple social media pages and multiple platforms.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals and Brand goals
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI
- Oversee social media accounts look and feel (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
- Create event pages for brands when needed.
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
- Collaborate with other teams, like Brand Managers & Designers to ensure brand consistency
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
- Stay on trend, and up to date with the latest social media best practices & technologies
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
- Attend weekly and monthly events to post real-time content
Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Knowledge required :
Proven work experience as a Digital Manager, with at least 5 years’ work experience in a similar role.BSc degree in Marketing or relevant fieldHands on experience in content management and content strategyAbility to deliver creative content (text, image and video)Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google AnalyticsKnowledge of online marketing channelsFamiliarity with web design, E-mail marketing and SMS marketingAnalytical and multitasking skillsPLEASE NOTE THAT PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES FROM A PREVIOUSLY DISADVANTAGED BACKGROUND, IN TERMS OF OUR COMMITMENT TO EMPLOYMENT EQUITY.
