Duties & Responsibilities

As a member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in the assessment and management of our life insurance portfolio. Your responsibilities will include conducting valuations, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

• Perform regular valuations of our life insurance liabilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial data and trends to assess the financial performance of our life insurance products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies and product enhancements.
• Provide expertise and support on actuarial matters related to life insurance, including reserving, financial reporting, and risk management.
• Stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes impacting life insurance valuations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

3+ years in life valuations.

Progress towards actuarial accreditation (ASA or equivalent) preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages (e.g., Prophet, R, Python).
