Unit Manager for maternity ward based in Lenasia

POSITION INFO :

Unit Manager – Maternity (POS24222)

Lenasia, Gauteng

R 35 000 to R 40 000 + benefits per month

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

The Unit Manager will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring quality nursing care and service delivery is implemented. The Unit Manager will be accountable and responsible for coordinating capacity building, mentoring, coaching, training in their unit.

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant Nursing Qualification with relevant experience in Maternity Unit
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maternity
• Registered with Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse
• Compliance with the SANC code for a registered and all applicable healthcare legislation
• Knowledge of SASOG
• SAP Experience preferred
• Compulsory BLS certification
• Willing to work shifts
