A well-established engineering and manufacturing company serving the mining and industrial sector is seeking Graduate Mechanical Engineers who are looking to gain practical work experience within a Research & Development (R&D) environment.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual who enjoys working with mechanical components investigating performance issues and contributing to product improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the R&D and technical team with product testing and development activities
• Support investigations into product wear performance concerns and failure analysis
• Perform hands-on work including dismantling components and inspecting materials for defects or abnormalities
• Capture findings and assist with compiling technical observations and reports
• Assist with basic measurements inspections and documentation of results
• Contribute to continuous improvement and technical problem-solving initiatives

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering qualification
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working in a hands-on physically demanding environment
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
