Position Title : Pharmacy Manager – Clicks Vredendal No.2

Location : Vredendal, Western Cape, South Africa

Contract : Permanent

Remuneration : Market Related

Position Summary

To ensure the efficient operation of the dispensary and clinic, and to deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care while meeting sales and compliance targets, providing a competitive advantage for the brand.

Job Objectives

  • Provide high standards of pharmaceutical care, accurate dispensing, advice in accordance with Clicks’ way of working, good pharmacy practice, and SAPC regulations.
  • Manage all operational activities of the dispensary including stock management, shrinkage, housekeeping, and administration.
  • Ensure financial viability of the dispensary focusing on dispensary and clinic targets, expense management and proactive action.
  • Develop competent and motivated employees, learners and interns, through selection, leadership, management and development.
  • Schedule staff in line with labour policy and schedule, ensuring records are complete and submitted to HR.
  • Lead customer service initiatives for great customer experience, loyalty and club card participation targets.
  • Integrate and partner with the clinic for full healthcare offering.
  • Support Group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by living and driving company values.
  • Foster cohesion, consistency and integration between store operation, pharmacy and clinic teams.
  • Develop a high performing business culture that delivers employee, customer and shareholder value.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience post community service year.
  • Minimum 1 year people management experience.
  • Registration as Responsible Pharmacist with SAPC.
  • Registered Pharmacist with SAPC.
  • Desirable : Retail Pharmacy experience.
  • Desirable : Unisolve experience.
  • Education

    Registered Pharmacist with SAPC.
