As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the design, analysis, testing, and improvement of mechanical systems across a range of projects. You will work closely with Senior Engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with the design and development of mechanical components, systems, and assemblies
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and technical analysis
- Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities
- Prepare technical drawings, documentation, and reports
- Participate in team meetings, technical reviews, and project planning
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures
- Contribute fresh ideas to improve product performance and efficiency
Requirements :
Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplineStrong understanding of engineering principles, materials, thermodynamics, and mechanicsFamiliarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar)Good analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnInternship or project experience is advantageous but not essentialThis position is based at a Cement Mine in Lichtenburg.
