Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive accounting services to our clients, ensuring their financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes.

Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Provide support for external audits and tax filings, working closely with auditors and tax professionals.

Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.

Collaborate with clients to understand their unique accounting needs and provide tailored solutions and recommendations.

Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

5 years experience with QuickBooks.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.

Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks.

Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Experience in an outsourced accounting firm or a similar environment is highly desirable.
