About The Organisation And The Role
The Fire Place Studio is a leading supplier of premium fireplaces and heating solutions, serving both residential and commercial clients across Cape Town and surrounding areas. They offer a wide range of fire products that combine design, efficiency, and quality to bring warmth and style to homes and developments.
They are now looking for a motivated and professional Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the drive to build strong relationships with homeowners, builders, and developers.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- New Business Development : Promote and sell our range of fireplaces to homeowners, building companies, and property developers.
- Follow up on leads to close sales.
- Grow sales through identifying new business opportunities and channels.
- Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain productive and sustainable relationships with new and existing clients and project stakeholders.
- Conduct on-site consultations and product demonstrations.
- Sales Management : Manage the full sales pipeline.
- Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular activity reports.
- Determine customer needs.
- Prepare quotations using cloud-based quoting system.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding design and installation.
- Negotiate price and delivery with customers.
- Ensure on time delivery to customers.
Required Skills & Experience
Matric is essential.Strong background and experience in sales (experience in building materials, interiors, or home improvement is a plus).Sound strategic and operational planning experience.Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication for sales and new product introductions.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of clients.Ability to respond to queries, handle complaints, and manage difficult situations calmly and rationally.Strong influencing and negotiation skills.Excellent administration and organisational skills; highly organised and efficient under deadlines.Computer literate with some experience with quotation systems; systems-oriented with good attention to detail.A flexible, self-starter who can work autonomously while maintaining open channels of communication with the team.A proactive individual who uses initiative to ensure service and performance are always to a high standard.Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude; punctual, courteous and professional.Valid Driver’s licence is essential.Job Details
