Job Title : Van Assistant
Seniority Level : Mid Career (2 - 4 yrs exp)
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading parcels from the delivery van.
- Ensure all parcels are correctly sorted and organized for delivery.
- Help with delivering parcels to customers, obtaining signatures or proof of delivery.
- Handle parcels carefully to avoid damage or loss.
- Support the driver in navigating routes and managing delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
- Communicate effectively with the driver, dispatch, and customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the van.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Report any issues promptly.
