Passion.io is on a mission to help creators build life-changing mobile apps. We need a Finance Manager who can keep our financial engine running and future-proof it for scale. This isn’t a “just close the books” role. It’s the heartbeat of our business : a mix of detective, architect, and coach.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead the numbers game : be the go-to person for all things finance and ensure accuracy from monthly reconciliations to strategic insights that guide big decisions
  • Financial Stewardship : lead the accounting and consolidation process, ensuring figures reconcile perfectly
  • Tell the story behind the data : turn rows of numbers into insights leaders can act on
  • Run the finance engine : manage virtual spend programs, payroll, vendor payments – smooth, on time, and accurate
  • Team Leadership : manage, motivate, and develop a small but mighty finance team
  • Upgrade how we work : spot inefficiencies, lead tool transitions, and create scalable finance ops

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable reconciling as well as communicating the company’s financial health to leadership.

What Makes You Perfect For This Role

  • 2+ years as a Finance Manager (or similar) with deep experience in financial accounting, analysis & reporting
  • 2+ years in Finance Operations — payroll, virtual spend programs, reconciliations
  • Led at least one team member and enjoy mentoring
  • Official accounting designation (CA(SA), CIMA, CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Articulate and approachable : make finance understandable and turn data into meaningful narratives
  • Detail-obsessed yet able to connect details to the bigger picture
  • Proficient with Google Sheets and collaborative data management

    • Bonus Points If You

  • Have SaaS or tech industry experience
  • Hands-on knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Experience leading finance ops projects (payroll tool transitions, accounting automation, etc.)
  • Thrives in a remote-first environment
  • Experience with Bill.com, Ramp, Tableau, or Power BI and can translate data into actionable insights
