Warehouse Clerk

Position : Warehouse Clerk Company : Venture Resources Location : Pretoria, South Africa Contract Details : Full-time Venture Resources, a leading logistics and supply chain company, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Pretoria, South Africa. As a Warehouse Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving and processing incoming shipments, and preparing orders for shipment. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to the success of our warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities : - Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying contents and ensuring accuracy of inventory records - Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking and packing orders, labeling, and organizing for shipment - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring all products are properly stored and easily accessible - Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies - Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding order status and shipment tracking - Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers - Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner - Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment Qualifications : - High school diploma or equivalent - 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment - Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Forklift certification is a plus We Offer : - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company - A supportive and collaborative work environment - Ongoing training and development opportunities If you are a hardworking and dedicated individual with a passion for logistics and supply chain, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
