Overseeing and reviewing bank reconciliations prepared by bookkeepers
Ensuring all transactions processed in the general ledger are accurate and complete
Preparing month-end financial packs and balance sheet reconciliations for review
Drafting accurate journals and reconciling with third-party partners
Supporting tax submissions in collaboration with the Group Tax team.
Assisting with year-end audits, including drafting statutory financial statements
Preparing statutory and regulatory returns as required
Driving finance improvement projects, including system implementations and efficiency initiatives
Liaising with other departments to resolve commercial issues
Skills & Experience :
Advanced time management, organisational, and MS Office skills (essential).
Finance business systems experience (ERP platforms, ideally Netsuite).
Experience preparing VAT and Corporate Tax returns (advantageous).
Exposure to multinational group structures, especially across Africa or the UK.
Financial services or highly regulated industry background (preferable).
Experience in high-growth, fast-paced organisations (advantageous).
Strong commercial acumen and ability to connect finance to value creation.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
Passion for continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation.
Qualification : CA (SA) (essential).
02 years post-qualification experience in a financial services environment (desirable).
