Role Overview

This role will be perfect for an engineer with commercial flair someone who can translate technical solutions into business value and thrives in consultative, long-cycle sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close opportunities for capital equipment sales.
  • Manage the full sales cycle : prospecting, solution design, proposals, and negotiation.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop tailored solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients in the food, beverage, and FMCG sectors.
  • Represent the company at client sites, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Qualification : Engineering degree / diploma (mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics preferred).
  • Experience : 5+ years in sales of capital equipment, packaging, or industrial solutions.
  • Skills : Strong technical aptitude, consultative sales approach, negotiation ability.
  • Attributes : Entrepreneurial mindset, hunter mentality, resilience, and passion for innovation.
  • Flexibility : Willingness to travel across South Africa and into Africa.
