Enterprise Cloud Systems Architect (Multi Cloud) : Perm : Cape Town

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role focuses on delivering highly available, secure, and scalable solutions while driving automation and operational efficiency. What You Will Do :

Design, deploy, monitor, and manage multi-cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP
Manage networking components such as VNETs, subnets, NSGs, load balancers, and gateways
Perform storage management (blobs, files, queues, tables) and backup policy enhancements
Ensure compliance for new regions and cloud policies
Monitor alerts, activity logs, and log analytics workspaces
Conduct vulnerability management and troubleshooting across cloud environments
Maintain golden images and implement CI / CD pipelines for deployments
Infrastructure as Code & Automation
Design, implement, and maintain IaC workflows using Terraform and Ansible
Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash) to optimize cloud operations
Integrate GenAI service catalogue models and AIOps tools for enhanced operational efficiency
Research and implement emerging tools and frameworks to improve cloud management
Cloud Governance & Collaboration
Apply ITIL best practices for cloud operations and incident management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for cloud automation, optimization, and project reviews
Capture and measure cloud quality metrics to ensure operational excellence
Propose best-fit cloud solutions based on new requirements and business needs

What You Should Have :

Experience :

8–12 years’ experience

Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP tools and best practices

Strong networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, IP addressing, LAN / WAN, TCP / IP, switches, routers, firewalls)

Experience with cloud solutions : IaaS, PaaS, BCDR, OSS, Infra

Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, CI / CD pipelines, and automation scripting

Familiarity with Azure Security Centre, Azure Monitor, and cloud compliance standards

Exposure to GenAI / AIOps integration and AI-driven cloud operations is a plus

Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
