St Catherine's School was established by the Newcastle Dominican Sisters and educates pupils from Grade to Matric. The school is registered with the IEB and is a member of both ISASA and the Catholic Schools' Office.
Marketing Specialist
The school seeks to appoint a skilled Marketing Specialist to develop and implement effective strategies that highlight our distinctive educational excellence, strengthen community engagement, and enhance our school's brand presence. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and strategic individual who can manage internal and external marketing and brand strategies, develop compelling content, and build and maintain interest in the school.
Qualifications and Experience
- A diploma or degree in Marketing Management
- A minimum of 3-5 years of intensive marketing experience
- Prior experience in a school environment will be advantageous

Campaigns : Plan, implement, and oversee multi‑channel marketing campaigns to promote the school and overall brandMarket research : Conduct research to identify market trends, target audiences, consumer demographics, and competitor activities to inform strategyContent creation : Collaborate with staff and external providers like graphic designers to develop marketing materials such as website content, blog posts, advertisements, and social media postsDigital marketing : Manage and optimise content for digital platforms, including website, social media, email, newsletters, and SEO initiativesPerformance analysis : Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance using metrics such as Google Analytics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvementCollaboration : Work with admissions, creative, and leadership teams, as well as external vendors, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing effortsBrand management : Maintain and develop a consistent brand identity across all marketing channelsService support : Assist with launches, open days, feeder school visits, and develop strategies for pricing, advertising, and distributionSuitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to submit their abridged curriculum vitae, complete with three references and a letter of motivation to Mrs May Alli at (contact).
