Accountant Position

We are currently seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team in the fuel services industry. The individual will play a crucial role in financial management, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in management accounting, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of management accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, providing insights into financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with operational teams to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business performance.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Utilize financial analysis and reporting tools such as Pastel to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, ensuring compliance with deadlines and maintaining accuracy in financial data.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial support and insights for decision-making processes.
• Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Stay up-to-date with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
