Job descriptionEnsure overall compliance to relevant procedures and policies Ensure that all team members have clearly defined job profiles Regular goal reviews are completed to assess achievement of results Support, coaching and mentoring is continuously provided to ensure that objectives are met Appropriate allocation of resources to meet operational demands Ensure adequate succession planning in order to meet ongoing and anticipated business requirements Participate in safety forums created by the company for example safety meetings and safety talks Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meetings / committees / representatives / management
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Maintain plant equipment
- Perform plant maintenance during the shutdown period
- Understand and interpret new drawings and manuals
- Install new machines and equipment as and when instructed
- Responding to emergency machine breakdowns throughout the plant
- Do regular inspections of plant equipment
- Give feedback to Maintenance Supervisors on breakdown root cause analyses
- Attend to all relevant breakdowns during standby period
- Complete DMS Work orders and Work order book to keep a record of work completed
- Apply for parts by making use of the requisition procedure
- Operate the Leathe and Milling machine to manufacture parts and spares
- Machine calibrations and setups
- Automation improvements and installation of electrical equipment
- Maintenance and improvements on electrical control systems
